The annual event returns on Saturday 4 December 2021 and members of the local community are invited to Branksome Dene Beach to walk, run, skip or dance their way along a 2km promenade route whilst raising funds to support the Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch hospitals.
Trade kitchen supplier, Howdens, have come on board as official event sponsor and assisted the local hospital charity in making the event a reality.
Scott Golding, Depot Manager at Howdens Christchurch said “Howdens are delighted to support the incredible cause that is UHD NHS charity. Supporting our local hospitals is really important to us so having the chance to sponsor the event is a real honour, especially at such a special time of year. The team do such a great job and we hope members of the public will take part in Elf Dash and support the charity this Christmas.”
Children attending the event can enjoy the ultimate Christmas experience, as Haskins Garden Centre will be decorating Santa’s Grotto and kindly donating gifts, making those heart-warming visits to Santa even more magical.
Long term supporter of the charity, Rapid Relief, have also stepped up to offer a free hot lunch for all taking part in the event too.
Sara Fripp, Fundraising Manager at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity said “ Elf Dash has always proven popular and this year is no exception. With more to enjoy than ever before, attendees are in for a real treat and will certainly get into the festive sprit. We’d love those taking part to get creative during their dash, put on their best fancy dress, bring along a four legged friend and raise sponsorship to support our hospitals this Christmas.”
Elf Dash tickets are priced at £10 for adults (age 16+) and £6 per child.
