Hoburne Naish – New Milton
Hoburne Naish holiday park in New Milton has chosen University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity to be its Charity of the Year for 2023.
The popular cliff-top holiday park, which offers holidays and holiday home ownership, will be pulling out all the stops to raise £5,000 to support cancer services at Royal Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Hospitals.
General manager at Hoburne Naish, Neil Sykes, said: “Choosing a local charity to raise invaluable funds for is something very close to all our hearts here at Hoburne. The University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity works extremely hard to support its patients by funding the extras that go above and beyond what the NHS can provide, and we can help.”
Howdens – Christchurch
Howdens Christchurch recently supported University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity by sponsoring our festive Elf Dash event and making a donation to Gully’s Place.
As a locally driven business, Howdens support and engage with local charities and community activities. In 2020, Howdens supported over 2,500 national charities, donating a total of £1.1 million to local communities across the UK.

The Hilton Hotel – Bournemouth
This year, the Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth have committed to supporting the Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch hospitals.
With over 100,000 guests a year, The Hilton Hotel will be offering their venue spaces to the charity to host meetings or fundraising events.
Sales Manager, Michael Matthews said: ”The fundraising the charity organises and delivers for the NHS services throughout the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch areas is phenomenal and we can’t wait to play a small part in fundraising and raising awareness for such a worthwhile local charity throughout this year and into 2023. Everybody that works here may know somebody who has been supported by our local hospitals and our guests have all been touched by the care and support that people depend on by our NHS heroes. We’re keen to show our support and provide our space to help the charity to raise as much funds as possible to help our local hospital staff go above and beyond for their patients.”
The Stock Shop
The Stock Shop who are based within our Poole Hospital site were our gold sponsor for Twilight Walk for Women’s Health 2022. The Stock Shop have served in NHS hospitals for over 30 years, offering retail therapy in the true sense of the word by providing a welcome relief and slice of normality in what can often be a stressful environment.
A spokesperson from The Stock Shop said “We are thrilled to have supported Twilight Walk for Women’s Health. We have been part of University Hospitals Dorset for nearly 2 years and as a business it is of great importance to us that we support the hospital and the local community. We were delighted to be part of an event that is so valued by the Dorset community and which raises vital funds for patients and staff at University Hospitals Dorset”

Westmade
Local construction company, Westmade Ltd , have been carrying out work on various projects at our hospitals since 2013. Over the years, the team at Westmade have made a number of donations and taken part in our events. Most recently, they sponsored one of our volunteer driven buggies which are currently in use at our Bournemouth site, transporting patients and visitors from A to B and ensuring our hospital remains accessible to all.
Managing Director, Allen Gilbert-Stroud said “We have worked side by side with the hospitals for many years and we are happy to contribute our time and efforts to supporting an organisation that helps all of us at some point in our lives. It’s rewarding to know that our presence at the hospitals is helping to improve the healthcare for the community we live in and will continue to show our support where we can.”
