Back The BEACH Appeal
There are so many ways to fundraise for The BEACH Appeal that will help us enhance the six-storey BEACH building at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital even further.
From braving a plunge into cold open waters, a charity golf day to remember or a fun but competitive pub quiz – each fundraising activity will bring you and your friends and family all the fun while helping to provide a brighter future for our hospitals.
Explore a variety of our challenges that will put you through your paces, helping you to reach new limits that you ever thought possible. These include the London to Paris cycle, the Jurassic Coast trek, abseiling and even climbing Kilimanjaro. There’s plenty to choose from on the challenges section of our website.
Get your fundraising off to a tee by doing something you enjoy while helping your hospitals. Whether it’s 18 holes or you set yourself a challenge to tackle as many holes in one day as possible, why not organise a golf tournament at your local golf club?
Embrace the English sea and commit to a daily dip for a week, a month, or even a year! For water sports enthusiasts, you may prefer to get your paddle board out or set yourself your own surfing challenge.
If you love to cycle and you are part of a cycling club, get as many of your friends together as you can to conquer an epic cycling challenge of your own?
Run from the Royal Bournemouth Hospital to the coastline, or conquer a six-mile run to symbolise the six floors of the BEACH building. If you want to step it up a level, you could even embark on a triathlon from Hengistbury Head to Sandbanks.
Host a beach BBQ. Ask your friends and family for a donation in exchange for food, drinks, and entertainment!
Are you creative? Why not host an art auction featuring masterpieces by local artists. If painting is not your thing, you could always sell cards or handmade items.
Host a bingo night or a challenging quiz. You could incorporate a beach theme by serving beach food.
